Engage with sessions tailored to both new and experienced individuals in the diversity, equity, and inclusion space and grapple with common questions faced by individuals dedicated to the implementation of programs, policies, and institutional changes to broaden participation in STEM

Diversity Professionals

- How can you use your position of influence to catalyze systemic change within your institution or your company leading to a more inclusive environment?

Faculty

- What can you do within your classroom to cultivate an environment that enables all students to be successful?

- How can you use your position of influence to drive an agenda around diversity, equity, and inclusion that aligns with your goals as a tenure-track faculty member?

~Agenda Overview~

Network with new and returning members of the NAMEPA community during our welcome reception on Sunday evening. We will leverage our individual and collective power through mutual accountability and allyship with targeted, independent sessions for diversity professionals and faculty on Monday and collaborative action-plan sessions with all attendees on Tuesday.

We will update NAMEPA membership on our progress towards our strategic plan during our general business meeting on Tuesday afternoon and also celebrate individuals who are excelling in our goal to attract, retain, and graduate students from historically underrepresented minority populations at our NAMEPA Awards Ceremony Banquet on Tuesday night (nomination details will be shared Dec 1).
